TYPES OF ACCIDENT AT WORK CLAIMS
ACCIDENT ON A FARMWorking on a farm seems very healthy as it is close to 'nature'. But at the same time, it can be very dangerous. This is because people who work on farms often use dangerous types of machinery, such as tractors, harvesters, cultivators, plows, and many other strong pieces of machinery. If these machines are mishandled, they can harm the person severely. In many cases, an accident at a farm can cause serious injuries.
ACCIDENT ON A CONSTRUCTION SITE
The most common causes of the accident at work are from construction sites. The person is surrounded by heavy machinery, concrete blocks, hard materials, and much more. Which are usually very dangerous for people to be around. Special training and equipment are required to make people safe. And if a person gets injured at a construction site, he/she should make a claim.
DEFECTIVE EQUIPEMENT CLAIMS
There are many cases where people have been the victim of defective machinery or equipment. Costing them their physical and mental health as well as monetary expenditures. It is the employers' responsibility to keep the equipment maintained so the working environment is safe for the employees. It is not the machinery at fault, but the person who owns that machine.
MANUAL HANDLING CLAIMS
There are a lot of jobs that require manual handling. Like, shifting boxes in a superstore, moving languages at the airport, delivering heavy parcels, and many such more. These are mostly labour jobs. And people often injure themselves while performing these jobs. And like all accidents, the person who suffered injury is entitled to make a claim and get compensated.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) CLAIMS
Every job requires certain precautions to be considered so that the people performing the job are protected and safe. Many tasks while at work require proper Personal Protective Equipment known as PPE. If your job was such of nature where you needed the PPE but you were not provided by one. And you got yourself injured, then you are entitled to make a claim.
TRIPS AND SLIPS IN THE WORKPLACE
The employer must make the working environment safe for the employees. So if you slip or trip while at work, especially at the premises, and you hurt yourself. You are qualified to make a claim and get compensated.
